Let an instructor take you on a private or small group guided SUP lesson & tour off the coast of Rincon’s quiet swimming beaches. You’ll start in flat, calm waters where you’ll learn the basics of stand-up paddleboarding.
Get the best of both worlds on this half day adventure. Start off with basic instruction on using and surfing the stand-up paddleboard while your instructor takes you up and down the Caribbean coast of Rincon to an idyllic snorkeling spot.
To begin you’ll head on calm waters out watching the golden sunset off the Western coast. As darkness sets in, you’ll paddle to the best snorkeling spots for the conditions, usually nearing the Tres Palmas Marine reserve (location determined by conditions). Your boards will illuminate the ocean below via the bottom-mounted LED lights.
Grab your stand up paddleboards and head up river for a one-of-a-kind adventure. You’ll explore the Guajataca River near Aguadilla on wide and stable paddleboards, while experiencing the flora and fauna of the local area with an experienced guide.
Rent a paddleboard and try your hand at this ancient surfing art. Newbies can start in the calm waters on Rincon’s Caribbean coast, while more experienced SUP’ers can head for the waves towards Tres Palmas and Sandy Beach.

Rincon offers a variety of great reef accessible by shore for divers. The Tres Palmas marine reserve is home to some of the largest stands of endangered elk-horn coral on the island and is teeming with a great variety of reef fish, eels, rays, turtles, dolphins, manatee and more.
