Guided Surf Adventure
If you're an experienced surfer that wants the challenge of new and exciting waves, but may be unfamiliar with the local spots, the Guided Surf Adventure is for you. An experienced local instructor will take you or your group on a full or half-day tour of the best local breaks, taking the time to explain the ideal spot to catch your kind of waves.
You'll learn what to watch for at each break, from reef and rock to currents and swell patterns. Plus, you'll get a tour of the off-the-beaten-path surf spots that many visitors never get a chance to visit. Your instructor will give helpful pointers depending on your level of ability - from improving on the basics, to style tips on the more advanced maneuvers.
If you have younger, advanced surfers that are yearning for a challenge, but mom and dad don't want them in the water alone this is a great, safe option for a more adventurous surf experience.
Tour includes transportation to and from surf spots. If you want a surf photographer or videographer to accompany your group out for the day, we can arrange one for an additional charge.

ONLINE BOOKING POLICY:
Please note that all online bookings are not fully confirmed until you
receive a confirmation e-mail and phone call from a Rincon Vacations
representative. Some tours require minimum persons in order to operate,
in which case your tour is not confirmed until these minimums are met.
Dates of tour will be confirmed by phone call from Rincon Vacations and
after booking is fully confirmed you will receive a detailed email
including directions to the location of your tour. All online bookings
are subject to 7% IVU tax and 5% booking fee.

Rincon Vacations acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car
rental company, tour operator, cruise line , activity or other service
provider named in your itinerary (Suppliers). Rincon Vacations is not
responsible for acts or omissions of Suppliers, their failure to provide
services or adhere to their own schedules, their failure to pay any
refund or for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss,
accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity which may be caused by
the Suppliers or any other party not under Rincon Vacation's control.
Your guide will meet you either at your place or a at designated meeting place. The half day tour will take you to 2-3 surf spots and the full day tour will show you 3-4 spots. The full day tour will also include customize video of you and your group surfing. Your guide will explain each break including where to get in and out of the water. Since Rincon is mostly reef breaks this is a great way to keep sea urchins out of your feet.
Things To Bring
Surf board (rentals are available if needed), towel, water, snacks and a change of clothes for afterwards.
Inclusions
Transportation if needed. Professional surf instructor and guide will accompany group in and out of water.
Cancellation Policy
100% payment required upon booking of activity. If activity is cancelled outside of 7 days, activity is 100% refundable minus 5% booking fee. If activity is cancelled within 7 days it is 100% non-refundable. If activity is cancelled due to weather conditions or other outstanding circumstances and cannot be rescheduled, 100% refund will be given. Weather cancellations are determined strictly by the activity supplier.

It really depends on the child and the conditions – usually around 7 is the youngest, but they will do as young as 5 if the child is really comfortable in the water and the conditions are really favorable for easy surfing. Let us know and we’ll get you booked!
