Scuba Dive - "The Wall" at La Parguera
La Parguera in Lajas is an exciting dive location on the Southwest corner of Puerto Rico. The most famous site at La Parguera is the stunning Parguera Wall. The Wall is formed as the continental shelf drops over 1500 feet into the ocean depths. Along The Wall black coral is abundant, as well as colorful reef fish and large deep-sea fish. Sightings of dolphins, manatee, blue marlin, tuna, eels and turtles are common. Parguera also offers a number of other off-shore dive sites including: Old Buoy, VJ Levels, Steps, Fallen Rock and more.
Please note: Parguera Wall dive can be requested, however, dive site will be determined by the conditions of the day.

Some tours require minimum persons in order to operate, in which case your tour is not confirmed until these minimums are met. Dates of tour will be confirmed by phone call from Rincon Vacations and after booking is fully confirmed you will receive a detailed email including directions to the location of your tour. All online bookings are subject to 7% IVU tax and 5% booking fee.

Southwestern Puerto Rico is a diver's paradise. The average ocean temperature in Puerto Rico is 81ºF and underwater visibility averages 60 to 75 feet. Offshore visibility is frequently known to top 100 - 150 feet or more. The tour will start at 7:00am when you are fitted with all of your equipment and then head out to the boat. After a 30 minute boat ride you will get your briefing on the first dive site. Once you are done there will be sandwiches and sodas waiting for you aboard the boat. Once you have had enough surface time, it is time for the second dive. This tour will last usually 5 hours, including the boat rides and should be done around noon.
Things To Bring
Bathing suit, dive certification card, towel, sunscreen, mask/fins/wet suit/BCD/Reg (all available upon request) and a change of clothes for afterwards
Inclusions
Tank and weight belt included free of charge. BCD/Regulator and wet suit available for additional charge.
Cancellation Policy
100% payment required upon booking of activity. If activity is cancelled outside of 7 days, activity is 100% refundable minus 5% booking fee. If activity is cancelled within 7 days it is 100% non-refundable. If activity is cancelled due to weather conditions or other outstanding cirucumstances and cannot be rescheduled, 100% refund will be given. Weather cancellations are determined strictly by the activity supplier.

It really depends on the child and the conditions – usually around 7 is the youngest, but they will do as young as 5 if the child is really comfortable in the water and the conditions are really favorable for easy surfing. Let us know and we’ll get you booked!
